Fallout 4 how to get lots of aluminum from guns or from armors ? 1. You need to learn Scrapper perk from your perk menu. How to do that ? Press TAB and then press T and if you have 1 point, scroll down to level 5. And the 5th row is the 5th perk..select it and lean it.

2. Now go to Weapons Workbench and select any weapon, and press R

3. If that gun have aluminum, you will see it and scrap it.

4. Now, go to Workshop and select R (transfers) and get aluminum to your inventory to use it.

That is the way to get aluminum quite easy.

Second method (without perks)

Also if you have some items that contain aluminum, drop it inside of your sanctuary and then press and keep V to open Workshop menu

Then look at dropped item and scrap it with R
